Rockpool Bar & Grill and Saké to Open in Parramatta

Parramatta is welcoming more comers to its dining scene as Rockpool Dining Group is bringing two of its cornerstone venues to the suburb. Restaurant Rockpool Bar & Grill and sushi bar Saké are set to open at the 8 Phillip Street precinct.

This follows the group’s initial expansion to the area with the opening of a Burger Project branch at Marsden Street.

“The agreement with Rockpool Dining Group will raise the bar for the greater Western Sydney dining scene, and serves to confirm the importance of Parramatta’s ‘Eat Street’ precinct in the broader local community,” said Aras Labutis, development manager at the precinct’s developing company, Coronation Property.

Besides Rockpool and Saké, the precinct will also feature a 600-person rooftop bar named Studio 54, run by QT Hotel.

The Phillip Street precinct is due for completion in 2020, with no set opening date yet.
